Seniors

Long ago, the term "Suavemores" was coined by the three brightest sophomores ever to grace Panera with their presence.  Times have changed.  Three love interests (all Griffin's), two years, and one big table later, we're back.  But not for long.  Soon, links will disappear from bios, all the money that we made from AdSense will go to funding our college educations, and Tina will have to find something else to do with her precious time.  We will lay down the white towel.

If you thought the Suavemores were fading out, you weren't the only one.  We had our doubts too.  There was a six month-long silence on our group chat during which Griffin continuously checked our Instagram bios for the presence of the blog's link, hoping and praying he would never have to speak to us again.  But last night, the group chat was revived in an attempt to plan our two year reunion, and today at Panera, we realized not that much has changed.  Griffin still showed up incredibly late (one hour and eighteen minutes to be exact).  Salem and Elisabeth waited anyways.  Griffin got a Dr. Pepper and played Pokemon Go.  Salem and Elisabeth wrote this blog post.  Griffin tried to take credit for it and threatened to delete the entire blog if they didn't cooperate.  Salem and Elisabeth didn't cooperate.  Griffin couldn't remember how to delete the blog.  And here we are.

No matter our efforts to dissolve our blog and destroy our friendship, we cannot ever truly succeed.  It is as Yeats wrote: the falcon cannot hear the falconer.  When we formed this group two years ago today, we thought we were our own biggest fans.  Turns out that's Tina--we are, in fact, our own worst enemies. Especially Griffin ("Delete the blog? Oh, I'll delete the blog. Wouldn't be the first blog I've terminated.").

Come Tina, slouch with us to Bethlehem.
C'est la vie.

P.S.
Harvard, Princeton, Impact 360: Griffin is not actually Brad Pitt.
Harvard, Princeton, Impact 360: Elisabeth does not know how to spell "again".
Harvard, Princeton, Impact 360: Salem is your best bet.

Agave forvevevever, (guess who typed that)
Griffin, Elisabeth, and Salem
