The Beginning

Everything has a beginning.  Every fairy tale, every legend, every human life.  Every prickly pear fruit plant and every small and insignificant particle of nucleic acid.  Every bacon bit on your salad began as a piglet, and every piglet began as its own infinite emptiness before the dawn of time.  Our beginnings do not define us, but they set us on our path to greatness--and greatness is what we are destined to become.  Some would say the Suavemores began a few weeks ago at Panera, but that is not the case.  I could tell you the Suavemores began in a rundown, halfway-underground 4th grade classroom in a church on a Thursday morning, but even that would not be entirely true.  The Suavemores began upon the surface of the waters. Before the first falcon soared above the newly-created treetops, this awe-inspiring group was brought into existence. Before existence existed, we roamed the mind of God, as we all did, and all will do again someday.  For innumerable years we have awaited this moment-- the moment that will define us as friends, students, bloggers, dreamers, leaders, and as Suavemores.  Though we drift through this life on a swift September breeze, we aspire to make the most of our time on Planet Earth.  That is why we started this blog. So allow us to remind you: time stretches on over the rolling hills into the dying sun, leaving us behind in the dust and the ashes. Or maybe time is a circle. Either way, one day your human heart will cease to beat and your body will seep back into the ground it once walked upon. And on that day, you must ask yourself: is this the end? Or is it only the beginning?
